Danang International Marathon is the first professional international Marathon in Vietnam to be certified by the International Marathon Association (AIMS) and the World Athletics Federation (IAAF) in 2014. Participants’ results in the race are eligible to register for the world’s most prestigious marathons, including the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, New York City Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and Tokyo Marathon.

Welcome to Da Nang - a dynamic, young and worth-living city with one of the world's most beautiful coastlines in Central Vietnam. After a long flight, you will have some time to loosen up and freely explore the city before the busy schedule ahead. In the evening, you will enjoy the magnificent view over the harbor and city in the Sun Wheel. After the ride, we will have a delicious dinner then hop on a boat at Bach Dang Wharf to journey along Han River with a great view of the unique bridges in Da Nang. It is definitely a great tour for experiencing the modern and sparkling vibe of Da Nang. Da Nang by night is very noisy and crowded with visitors from all over the world. The city with nine beautiful bridges designed with different models and these bridges have made up a “complex of distinct infrastructure” for Da Nang City. Nine bridges are brightly lighted and attract a lot of visitors. Each bridge has different features of architecture and style and all contribute to making the perfect picture for Da Nang City. Many activities are often celebrated in this city. Especially, taking a tour around the city at night, you can enjoy the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
We will visit the Expo area of Da Nang International Marathon, where you will collect your race kit through fast lane service. Following that, you will join us on an adventure to scout the race route prior to the official race day, starting from the East Sea Park, then riding along My Khe beach, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, Da Nang Administrative Buildings and the 4 biggest and most iconic bridges of this city. This tour will also give you more insights of the conditions and you will know which part of the route is challenging or relaxing to prepare and plan your pace ahead. Later, we will enjoy local food at the Con Market and visit the Dragon Bridge, the iconic bridge of Da Nang City.
It’s RACE DAY! We will take you to the track and there you will take part in the challenge of the marathon. After the race, we will return to the hotel and rest. Check-out. Transfer to Hoi An, check-in. You will depart for My Son, one of the most important sites of the ancient kingdom of Champa located 40 kilometers from Hoi An. Later, it’s time to explore the sights and sounds of Hoi An during night-time. We will visit the Hoi An ancient houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Ancient Walking Town. Have dinner in a local restaurant in town.
Ba Na is one of the most interesting and must-visit locations in the region as often one can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day. Ba Na includes the Golden Bridge or the Golden Hands Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda, Le Jardin Garden and an ancient villa complex. We will continue our trip discovering Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak, Luna Castle, Eclipse Square and Vong Nguyet Hill where we can enjoy the panoramic views the areas have to offer.  After Ba Na, back to the hotel. Have some rest. In the evening, you will have a chance to emerge in with the atmosphere at the Hoi An Memories Show – a large-scale real-time show conveying the most authentic historical cultural values to the audience.
Enjoy the ride along the river in a bamboo basket boats – the main means of transportation of the locals in the past. The next stop is the traditional craft village of Cua Khe, the home to “nuoc mam” (fish sauce) from this region. Cua Khehas existed for hundreds of years with the main products of the craft village being anchovy fish sauce and dried fish products for export. Fish sauce is made from anchovies and salt and left to ferment for several months. Having seen what the sea has to offer we now move on to see what the land has to offer by visiting the Distillery of Indochina. Which has chosen to settle in the South of Hoi An not just because of the high quality of the local groundwater but because of its unique sugarcane variety which is not only renowned for its quality but also aromatic properties. Back on the rural track, we head off to explore the countryside and hidden villages, to really get into the nitty gritty of local life... We will take a tour around the rice and sweet potato fields and see the farmers preparing and fertilizing the land. Here we will discover everyday working the land. Our last stop will be to visit a local house where you can explore a bird nest’s cave and enjoy the unique cuisine.  Check out, then transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Caution: Visitors are required to wear sports clothing when participating in the marathon
